Camping L’Oceano d’Or is conveniently location just on the edge of the beautiful town of Jard sur Mer. Camping L’Oceano d'Or is a five minute walk from the town centre where you will find a selection of shops bars and restaurants.

Jard sur Mer is home to a picturesque 'port de plaisance' and there is easy access to a choice of 2 great beaches, both with free parking.

The large pool complex comprising 3 water slides, 2 pools, spacious sunbathing deck and poolside bar is a favorite place to cool off in the sunny Vendee climate. During the evening the bar and games room is perfect for all the family. This park is another that forms part of the prestigious group of sites, which won the 'Grand Prix du Tourisme' recently.

Talmont St. Hilaire is well worth visiting, with its medieval castle rising high above the town. Walk around the castle wall and climb the spiral stair case for a great view over Talmont St Hilaire.

The zoo at Les Sables d'Olonne is well known and a popular day out. Its easy to find, well advertised is a great family day out. www.zoo-des-sables.com

The motor museum at Talmont features a display of vintage, veteran and unusual motor vehicles.
